Dean Colet – St Paul’s Cathedral
Colet was an English scholar, Renaissance humanist, theologian, member of the Worshipful Company of Mercers, and Dean of St. Paul’s Cathedral, London. His original memorial was destroyed in the Great Fire of London in 1666. This new memorial is sited in the south quire aisle along side the marble effigy of John Donne. The lettering was designed by the artist and cut by Richard Bosson.
